Africa where you will experience the real African continent.
Take a tour
of Kampala city, including stops at the national museum, markets and iconic
religious sites. After that, you’ll have lunch around the town before retiring
for dinner and night stay.
Day 2: Depart
Kampala to Kidepo National Park.
You will
depart Kampala for the northern region of the country—Kidepo Valley National
Park, a true African wilderness, after enjoying a delectable breakfast at the
hotel. The journey starts at dawn and lasts for about ten to eleven hours.
Along the way, you’ll see busy cities, bustling towns, and scattered farms.
Make a stopover enroute for lunch and refreshments. From there, you will head
to your lodge for dinner and a leisurely nap.
Day 3: Full
day Game Drive
Spend the
full day after breakfast exploring Kidepo valley, Narus valley and other areas
of importance in the park. Kidepo Valley is a pure African wilderness with one
of the most magnificent sceneries on earth. Several birds, plants, and animals
that you may recognize throughout the game drive reside on the over 1442 sq km
of land.
African cape
elephants, African buffaloes, waterbucks, various antelope species, lions,
leopards, cheetahs, Nubian giraffes, ostriches, wolf-eared bats, bulbuls and
other animals are only a few of the numerous species. You’ll eat lunch in the
wild before retiring for the night for dinner.
Day 4:
Morning Game drive and Afternoon Cultural adventure
Have a
sunrise breakfast at the lodge followed by a 3- to 4-hours’ morning game drive
to look for some of the mammals you missed on the previous game drive. These
include animals like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and others.
Return to the
lodge for breakfast and lunch after the scenic game drive. Visit the Karamojong
tribe, one of Uganda’s most recognized herdsmen. It will be time to learn more
about African culture, including their manyatta huts, dances and language. We
invite visitors to contribute financially and materially to the community.
Dinner and a sound sleep can help you wind down after the day’s activities.
