Itinerary.
Day 1:
Arrival at the airport and transfer to Lake Mburo national park.
Be picked up
by your driver guide at the airport immediately after landing at the airport.
This guide will provide a short description of the safari itinerary. After,
drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest national park in Uganda.
Though the
park is small, it has got many animal species like Topis, leopards, hippos,
elands and many bird species because the park is known for homing over 345 bird
species. Check-in at your booked lodge for your dinner and night stay.
Day 2:
Horseback riding and boat cruise.
Have a
well-served morning meal at the lodge and then set off for your first activity
on this 3 days’ safari at Lake Mburo national park which is horseback riding.
This will open for you a chance to witness wild game in their natural habitats
and view at close-range. This horseback riding is an interesting activity where
you will have a look at the different wildlife such as the waterbucks, zebras,
Topis, Buffalos and antelopes together with very many bird species. Return back
to your lodge for lunch and rest for a moment waiting for your next activity in
the evening.
On this
evening of your 3 days at lake Mburo National Park, embark on the next activity
which is a boat cruise, done on lake Mburo an activity where you will have a
view of the vegetation and animals like hippos, bird species and crocodiles not
forgetting other small animals which come to drink water at the lake. Drive
back to your lodge for a night’s stay and dinner.
Day 3:
Travel back to Entebbe and fly back home.
Start this last day of your 3 days lake Mburo safari with a well-served breakfast at the lodge and then after paying farewell to Lake Mburo national park and drive to Kampala city having your stopover in Kayabwe at the equator a line that divides the world into two equal parts of the southern and northern hemisphere for a photographic moment. After, proceed with the journey to Entebbe international airport for your flight back home.
