The 3 days Bwindi gorillas is a well-set safari that will give an experience to you while on your visit to Uganda. The park is known for homing half of the world’s number of gorillas. The safari will have 3 days and 2 nights taking you trekking another close relative of man, the gorillas after which you will do a cultural tour of the once forest inhabitants the Batwa from were driven to the airport back waiting for your flight.

Itinerary
Day 1:
Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park from Entebbe
As soon as
you arrive at the airport in Entebbe, our company representative together with
your experienced safari guide will meet you and brief you shortly about this
safari. This will mainly focus on the guidelines to follow while on this
safari. After the briefing, drive heading to southwestern Uganda where you will
drive for 8-9 hours.
While on your
way to this park, have a stopover in Mbarara where you will have your lunch
before proceeding with the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Proceed with your journey passing through the undulating highlands and plateaus
until you arrive at the lodge for check-in at your lodge for dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 2:
Mountain gorilla trekking and cultural experience.
This is the
day you have been waiting for as it will begin with breakfast at the lodge
before setting off for gorilla trekking. Before setting off, first have a
briefing about the precautions to take while on your visit to this park. During
this briefing, you will be able to raise any questions concerning gorilla
trekking. After, an armed ranger guide will lead you to the starting point and
start looking for the gorillas. The activity usually takes 1-8 hours, depending
on the location of the apes.
It is
important to note that as soon as you reach these animals, an additional one
hour will be given to you in their presence as you are taking photos and
videos. Return to the main gate for your trekking certificate and then drive to
the lodge shortly waiting for your next activity in the evening.
After some
rest, proceed on a community tour for a cultural immersion among Batwa people
who were once forest dwellers. This guided cultural tour will open to you a
chance to see their hunting skills, music, dance, drama and art. Buy their
homemade crafts as souvenirs for remembrance. Check in back at the lodge for
your dinner.
Day 3:
Transfer back to Entebbe and fly home.
On this 3rd day of your 3 days Bwindi gorilla trekking tour from Entebbe, begin it with a morning breakfast before setting off on a long journey to Kampala. After breakfast drive to Kampala, a journey that will take 9 hours having your stopover at the equator in Kayabwe for photographs on a line that divides the world into two parts of Northern and the southern hemisphere. Later proceed with the journey to Kampala city and then to airport in Entebbe and fly back home.
