The 10 days Uganda safari is a fantastic safari for all visitors coming to Uganda the pearl of Africa. This will include 10 days / 9 nights taking you to the source of River Nile in jinja for white water rafting and cruise on the Nile then to Kampala from where you’ll head to Murchison falls national park with a stop at Ziwa rhino sanctuary before continuing for a game drive and boat cruise in Murchison falls national park.

Proceed with your safari to Kibale national park the home of primates for chimpanzee trekking and crater lakes exploration after which head to Ishasha for an evening game viewing and then to the mighty Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will do gorilla trekking and head to Kampala city having several stopovers like at the equator in Kayabwe after which proceed to the airport in Entebbe and fly back home.

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and transfer to Jinja.

Upon arrival at your location in Uganda, our company representative together with your professional safari driver guide will meet you and brief you shortly about this 10 days Uganda safari and then proceed with you to the source of river Nile the longest river in Africa located in jinja. Meet your site guide who will brief you about the source of R. Nile.

Have lunch at your booked hotel and in the afternoon embark on an evening cruise on the Nile and then drive back to your hotel for your dinner.

Day 2: White water rafting and transfer to Kampala

On the morning of this second day of your 10 days Uganda safari, have your well-served morning breakfast and then head for a white water rafting on the Nile. The activity usually starts at 8:00 am where you will move to the starting point where you are given the gears and get a briefing and then head for the activity.

Enjoy your experience at River Nile and from there drive to your hotel for lunch and then drive to Kampala passing through Mabira forest the largest tropical rainforest in Uganda, the sugar plantations of Lugazi arriving at your hotel in Kampala late in the evening for your dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls national park

Have your morning dish at your hotel in Kampala and embark on your drive to Murchison falls national park. On this drive, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a 3-hour Rhino trekking experience.

The activity begins with a briefing from the officials and after heads to the forest and starts looking for these rhinos. As soon as you get on them, an extra one hour will be given to you in their presence and after trekking proceeds with your journey to Murchison falls national park and check in at your lodge for your evening meals.

Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

After early morning breakfast at your lodge, drive to the northern part of Murchison falls national park to the delta for a morning game drive. This region is the best spot for several wildlife animals including the cape buffalos, African Elephants, olive baboons, lions, and hyenas, on a good day you can spot leopards and different species of antelopes including the Uganda kobs, giraffes, Jackson hartebeest and waterbucks. Retreat to your lodge for your lunch.

In the afternoon of this same day, drive for a boat cruise where you will have magnificent falls which are located along the Nile river. Game drive at this point will open your chances of viewing the streaming hippos and crocodiles at the base of the river. Return to your lodge for your dinner.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After early morning breakfast at your lodge, head for a long drive to western Uganda in Kibale national park the home of primates. The journey usually takes a 6-7 hours’ drive and with a stopover in Hoima city for lunch.

Continue with a drive to your second stopover in Fort portal city to stretch your muscles and buy some souvenirs and check in at your booked lodge for dinner.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and crater lakes exploration.

This is your day for chimpanzee trekking. Have your breakfast and then pack your lunch and then drive to the headquarters for briefing after which meet your armed ranger guide who will take you to the forest for trekking. The trek usually lasts for 2-7 hours expecting to meet primates like chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red colobus, vervet monkeys and many more because the park is known for homing 13 primates.

It is important to note that as soon as you reach these chimps, a maximum of one hour will be given to you in their presence. Return to your lodge waiting for your next activity.

In the evening, a guide from Isunga cultural community will welcome you and brief you shortly and after, he will take you for a crater lakes exploration which will enable you to have views of more than three crater lakes since the park lies in the Kasenda-Ndali craters. Enjoy the environment at these craters and be given all the required information about craters. Return to your lodge for dinner.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and evening game drive in Ishasha sector

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge and then embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a journey that will take you 2-3 hours have views of different local markets, local communities of the Bakoonzo, the Rwenzori mountains ranges and drive for an evening game drive in Ishasha sector where you will have spots of animals like African Elephants, olive baboons and the rare tree climbing lions. Check-in at the lodge for your dinner

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After morning breakfast at your lodge, drive heading to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is also known for hosting half of the remaining mountain gorillas. While on your drive, you will stop at some of the prominent places before reaching Buhoma sector in the northern Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Enjoy beautiful views of the terraced lands, cattle farms and local communities. Drive to your lodge for dinner and night stay.

Day 9: Mountain gorilla trekking

This is another rewarding activity as you will begin it with a serving of morning breakfast from the lodge and lunch being packed. Your ranger guide will brief you shortly about how to behave when trekking and the gorilla group you are going to trek before heading in search of these large apes.

After setting off for a 1-8 hours’ gorilla trekking experience and immediately after reaching these animals, an additional one hour will be given to you in the presence of these mountain gorillas for you to take photos and videos. After the experience, return to your lodging facility for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 Transfer to Kampala and fly back home

Being the last day of your 10 days Uganda safari, be given a delicious breakfast at the lodge and then pay farewell to Bwindi impenetrable national park driving to Kampala city and having your first stopover at Igongo cultural centre for lunch.

Proceed with the journey and have your second stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for photographic moments on two parts of the world that is the southern and northern hemispheres. Continue with the drive to the airport and fly back home.
